treaty.

11/10/01 165 Nations Approve Kyoto Rules on Global
Warming. United States did not sign onto such an agreement.
May 24, 2001 Vermont Republican Senator Jim Jeffords becomes
Independent, changing the balance of power in Washington, D.C. March 15,
2001 Senator Jeffords introduced the Clean Power Act which would require
specified reductions in emissions from power plants by January 1,2007.
June 6, 200l the National Science Foundation releases its
report on Global warming, and the Bush administration is forced to
recognize the existence of global warming. If the Bush energy plan as
presently envisioned were fully implemented, it would increase global warming by

administration is also investigating the possibility of turning control of
the National Science Foundation over to NASA.
As we roll along merrily with our man created,
environmentally hazardous monster vehicles and belching smokestacks, all in the name of industrial
superiority.
